There are two ways to register for the competition

(1) Register Online. This is the most preferred method. The registration info is posted below – When you register online you will receive an email confirmation with your contestant # and a time to arrive for pre-judging. When you get to the show you will need to sign in at the cosplay registration desk and will be given further instructions.

(2) Register at the convention – Participants will be able to sign up for the contest at the cosplay registration booth #1009. Fill out and return the entry form to the registration table. You will be given a contestant # and a time to arrive for pre-judging. Everyone must be signed in and all forms must be handed in by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

All Contestants who will be entering the costume competition will be required to attend pre-judging. Contestants will be given specific information on pre-judging at the cosplay registration desk located at Booth #1009. Pre-judging will occur on Saturday in 2 separate sessions. There will be an early morning session from 10:00am – 11:30am open only to those who have pre-registered for the competition online or at the show on Friday (at the official cosplay booth #1009). This session is done so that as few people as possible have to miss out on any other aspect of the show… remember, we’re all there to have fun… and nobody really wants to have to wait in a long line when there’s cool stuff to do. The second session is for contestants who register at the show, or can’t make the morning session for some reason. The second session will occur from 3pm-5pm. Pre-judging gives the judges a chance to look over costumes and ask questions about their construction prior to the event so the costume's creator should be in attendance with the model. Judges will be evaluating costumes based on the following criteria: accuracy, creativity, and technique. Judging will decide upon the costume winners following pre-judging and winners will be announced following the contest.

All entrants must show up at 8:15pm (30 minutes prior to the competition) for roll call in the Main Events room.
